WHAT SHAPES THE FINISHED EFFECT
The Details Make the Difference.
Colour & transparency
Identify opaque, clear and translucent areas in the artwork. Approve the material or painted colour reference rather than relying only on a screen image.
Thickness & layers
Review overall thickness, layer alignment, fine details and exposed edge treatment. Clear layers and visible edges can be deliberate parts of the design.
Wall & fixing limits
Tell us if drilling is restricted. Studs, adhesives and backing options must be selected for the sign, surface and local installation conditions.

Questions Before You Start.
Are acrylic letters always illuminated?
No. Acrylic can be used in non-illuminated lettering or in an illuminated construction. Tell us the effect you want.
Can you reproduce fine logo details?
Send the artwork and intended size. Small features, thin strokes and layer alignment need review.
Can I choose the colour and thickness?
Share your preferences. Available material colours, thicknesses and the final design are confirmed for your project.
Can a logo combine clear and solid-colour layers?
Share the artwork and a side-view or layering reference. We review layer thickness, alignment, visible edges and assembly before confirming the design.
Can acrylic lettering also be illuminated?
Yes, an illuminated direction can be reviewed, but it requires an appropriate construction. Tell us whether you want an unlit, front-lit, edge-lit or other effect.
Can the sign be fixed without drilling?
Tell us about the surface and fixing restrictions. Any adhesive, stud or backing solution must be reviewed for the material, weight and local installation conditions.

Colour, Edges and Layered Shapes
Acrylic lettering and signs can use cut shapes, visible edges and separate layers to create a dimensional logo. Use a reference to explain the effect you want, then review the material, colour, thickness and construction for your own artwork.
The supplier image shows a coloured letter with a clear lower layer. It is a construction reference, not a fixed specification that every acrylic sign must follow.
Start with These Design Choices
- Logo or lettering, overall width and height, and quantity.
- Desired colour, opacity and appearance of the edges.
- Single or multiple layers and the depth you want to see.
- Background, backing panel or individual letters.
- Preferred illuminated or non-illuminated effect.
- Mounting surface, indoor or outdoor setting and destination.
Artwork and Small Details
Fine strokes, tight spaces and separate logo elements need review at the intended size. If you only have a screenshot, send it to begin the discussion; production artwork and final dimensions must be confirmed before fabrication.
Review the Fixing and Handling Scope
The sign's size, layers and mounting surface affect how it should be supported and handled. Confirm the supplied fixing arrangement, layout information, packing and local installation requirements in the quotation.
Questions Before You Start
Are acrylic signs always illuminated?
No. Acrylic can be used in unlit signs or as part of an illuminated assembly. Tell us the appearance you want rather than assuming the image includes lighting.
Can you match a brand colour?
Share your colour reference and ask how the selected material or finish will be approved. Availability, lighting and viewing conditions can affect the perceived colour.
Can I send an approximate size?
Yes, for an initial discussion. Confirm the final measurements, artwork, layer arrangement and installation surface before production is approved.
